Therapeutic Yoga & Mind–Body Wellness
Move with Awareness. Breathe with Intention.
At Sandhya Hot Spring Healthcare, Yoga is approached as more than physical exercise. Guided movement, conscious breathing and relaxation practices are thoughtfully adapted around your comfort, mobility and individual wellness needs.
Understanding the Practice
What is Therapeutic Yoga?
Therapeutic Yoga uses selected postures, breathing techniques, gentle movement and relaxation practices in a way that can be adapted to the individual's physical ability, comfort and wellness requirements.
Rather than expecting every guest to follow the same routine, the practice can be modified according to mobility, age, experience level and the broader purpose of the wellness stay. This may include gentler movements, chair-based practices, breathing exercises or guided relaxation where appropriate.
Yoga Adapted Around You
Our Yoga sessions are not built around difficult poses or performance. The emphasis is on mindful movement, comfortable breathing and practical practices that can support a calmer, more balanced wellness routine.
Gentle, Guided Movement
Yoga postures and movements may be adapted according to mobility, comfort, age and individual capability.
Breath & Relaxation
Pranayama, breathing awareness and guided relaxation may be incorporated to encourage a quieter, more mindful practice.
Part of Your Wellness Plan
Yoga can be thoughtfully incorporated alongside Ayurveda, Naturopathy, hot spring therapy and other wellness practices.
Your Yoga Experience
Move, Breathe & Find Your Own Rhythm
A Yoga session at Sandhya may begin with simple breathing and gentle movement before progressing into selected postures, stretches or relaxation practices appropriate for you.
The goal is not to achieve a perfect pose. It is to create a comfortable space where you can move mindfully, become more aware of your breathing and give both body and mind time to slow down.
Begin with Breath & Awareness
Settle into the session with gentle breathing and simple movements that help you become comfortable and present.
Move at Your Own Pace
Selected postures, stretches and movements are guided according to your comfort, mobility and individual ability.
Finish with Relaxation
Sessions may conclude with breathing, stillness, meditation or guided relaxation to create a calm and balanced finish.
